Three families go off the grid in search of a better and simpler way to live. The Watfords are looking for a way to save their marriage; the Elliots hope to solve chronic health problems; and the Kemps want out of the rat race. Though their motivations are different, each family shares a dream to build a self-sufficient lifestyle where they are able to focus more on each other.
