While on shift at the Dino Bite Cafe, Riley encounters his high school rival, Burt, who is in town to compete in the Amber Beach Marathon. Burt was always the star athlete, while Riley was the "braniac" (which happens to be Burt's nickname for him). At the crashsite, Wrench and the monster Sting Rage use the venom from his stingers to create a potion that when consumed, will give a persona total amnesia. Later, Burt challenges Riley to compete in a race. Riley tries to use the power from his Energem to cheat and win the race, but ends up in a tree and which just provides Burt and his friends more laughs. Heckyl suggests that Riley enter the marathon to prove to Burt that he's more than just a "braniac". Suddenly, they're nearly hit by a fiying stinger! Heckyl leaps in and protects Riley from Sting Rage's stinger by getting hit himself. He loses his memory, and sees the Rangers de-morph! The Teens reluctantly take Heckyl down to the Base, where he is given an antidote. As Heckyl comes to, he is delighted to find himself in the Base, and ‘vows' to keep the Rangers' identity a secret, secretly determined to come back and steal the Energems. On the day of the marathon, Fury and Sting Rage head to the dam and begin filling the Amber Beach water supply with the venom. At the park, Riley and Burt run the marathon while the Rangers arrive to cheer Riley on and man the water stations. They unknowingly hand out poisoned water and the racers all lose their memories, except for Riley, who has been drinking out of his own personal untainted water bottle. He safeguards all the Energems before Heckyl can steal them and takes them back to the Base for safekeeping. In the Base, Kendall and Riley work to create enough antidote for the whole city, so that Kendall can fiy over in the Plesio Zord and release it. She gives Riley a small spray bottle of it so he can go and cure the Rangers immediately, and he leaves with his friends' Energems. Riley restores the memories of his friends and Burt. When Burt realizes what Riley did for him, he is humbled and apologizes to Riley for his behaviour, admitting he was actually jealous of Riley's brains. Heckyl goes into the Base where he thinks the Energems will be, but is disappointed to find they're not there. The Rangers find Sting Rage and Fury on the dam and battle them, destroying Sting Range and restoring the Amber Beach Water supply back to normal. On Sledge's ship, the monsters celebrate having found the location of the Base and Curio's homemade punch is fiowing freely, Their celebration is short-lived as they've forget what they're celebrating because Curio accidently mixed the punch with Sting Rage's Venom!
Nightmare in Amber Beach

At the Dino Bite Cafe, Shelby is devastated because she has gotten a ‘B' on her Accounting test at summer school. Her father, who always pushes her to be the best, is disappointed because he is counting on her to take over the family business - Watkins Ice Cream. She vows to re-take the test and get an ‘A'. Heckyl, seeing an opportunity for some espionage, reminds to Shelby to make sure she gets plenty of rest before the big test. When he heads back to Sledge's crashed ship, he calls for Nightmare, a monster that can control people's dreams and turn them into nightmares when they touch his special pillow. Shelby is furiously studying at the Dino Bite when Heckyl brings her an unmarked package that has been delivered for her. It's a bright pink pillow, which of course she loves. Heckyl's smile grows more and more evil as Shelby slowly falls asleep. Now that she is under Nightmare's spell, he commands her to destroy all the Vivix that she sees. The only problem is that the Vivix she sees in her dream are really her friends! Shelby pulls out her Dino Saber to attack. Tyler grabs the pillow to defend himself when Shelby slices it in half. She immediately wakes up and the Teens link the pillow to Shelby's nightmare. Down at the Base, Kendall orders the team to stay awake while she analyses the pillow through the night. The following morning, the Teens can barely keep their eyes open. Their Dino Coms alert the rest of the Rangers to a Vivix attack nearby. As they start to battle, they are suddenly attacked by the Gold Ranger; Ivan has been touched with the pillow! The Rangers are able to defeat the Vivix, restrain Ivan, and destroy the pillow. Back at the Dino Bite, Shelby has to leave to go and take her test, and Riley gives her a ride. They run into Shelby's Dad again on the way out, and he ignores Shelby trying to say that the ice cream business won't make her happy. As she and Riley leave, her Dad sees a little girl and her father bonding over dinosaurs in the museum and feels guilty. When Riley and Shelby arrive for the test, Riley tries to convince Shelby to do what makes her happy, but she goes in to take the test anyway. As she does, Curio sneaks up and puts a pillow in Riley's scooter helmet, and he goes under Nightmare's control too! Kendall is hard at work at the cafe. Heckyl sees an opportunity to use Nightmare's pillow on her. He's just about to touch Kendall, when Shelby bursts in and catches Heckyl in the act and destroys the pillow. Thankfully, she decided not to take her test! The others wake up, and everyone realises that Heckyl and Snide are the same being when he transforms! The Teens are tracking Riley and see that he is heading for the junk yard. They manage to stop him just before he hands over his Energem to Fury. The Rangers destroy Nightmare, but Fury is able to escape. Shelby finally tells her Dad that she wants to study dinosaurs more than business and to her surprise, he supports her.

A fiery asteroid has crashed in the forest and someone crashed down with it. Snide, Fury, and Wrench confront the intimidating visitor. His name is Singe and he wants to join them in gathering all 10 Energems. Meanwhile at the park, Chase lands trick after trick on his skateboard, but his date, Kaylee, quickly grows tired of his showboating and leaves. Tyler opens a letter from someone who knew his father, but before he can start reading it, an explosion goes off. Tyler races over and is joined by Chase who was also close by. They see Singe attacking the city and quickly morph. As they are battling, the other Rangers show up, but Singe fiees just in time. Singe suggests to Heckyl that they don't attack the Rangers, but instead attack their loved ones. Kaylee will be Singe's first target, which will draw in the Black Ranger. Heckyl likes the idea and awards Singe the chance to catch a Ranger, but more importantly an Energem. Tyler hurries into the Dino Bite, excited that he's just gotten a letter from a prospector named Rusty who has information about his father. He leaves to investigate. Meanwhile, Chase is finishing up another date with Kaylee, but she breaks up with him claiming that Chase is too full of himself. In reality, she has a new crush…the Black Power Ranger! Shelby notices that Chase is depressed about the break up. Shelby says he needs to be much more considerate of other people's feelings, especially those important to him. Chase is frustrated, he's not going to get another chance, but suddenly has a great idea! Kaylee is hanging out at the park, when the Black Ranger approaches, disguised behind a fake American accent. He begins to woo her and takes Shelby's advice by asking Kaylee what she wants to do. Tyler meets with the prospector, who tells him how his father disappeared. Although things sounded bleak for his father, Tyler chooses to believe that his dad somehow survived. The Black Ranger and Kaylee are having a great time until the subject of his true identity comes up. Because he'll never be able to tell her who he is, they agree to part ways as friends. As soon as they go their separate ways, Singe attacks Kaylee. Chase, ummorphed, is able to help her, and the other Teens arrive too. Once Kaylee is safe and out of harm's way, they morph and battle. The Rangers are unable to destroy Singe and he is able to escape. Kaylee meets Chase to apologize for breaking up so abruptly, she really appreciates him saving her. Chase admits he was totally inconsiderate before, and that it wasn't cool. They decide to give their relationship another shot.

Singe pitches a new plan to Heckyl, attacking the Power Rangers' digital infrastructure with a computer virus created by Wrench! Ninja will use his stealthiest moves to get access to the Ranger's computer system and install the virus. Tyler and his Dad used to visit a campsite when he was a child, and now Tyler's brought all six of his friends with him to that same site. Tyler takes out his Dino Bite hat and places it in a box where he and his dad had always left a memento from each of their trips. He shows them all the letters and items he's left previously. Tyler is going through a series of physical tests with Kendall so she can gather data to create the Dino Super Charge Mode. Tyler isn't focused though because he's thinking about the whereabouts of his father. Shelby gets frustrated and tells Tyler it's probably time to let it go. Tyler gets angry at her for suggesting that and says that she doesn't know him at all. While they're distracted, Ninja sneaks in, inserts a fiash drive into Kendall's computer, corrupts it with the virus, and sneaks off again. Annoyed at Shelby, Tyler gets angry and goes off for a run to blow off some steam, accidentally leaving his Energem behind. While Tyler is running through the woods he is attacked by Ninja, but without his Energem, Tyler can't morph. Suddenly, an Aqua coloured blur jumps in and attacks Ninja, sending him on his way. Tyler is not quite sure of it, but he thinks he may have just encountered the Aqua Ranger! Back at the Base, Tyler tells the team about his possible encounter with the Aqua Ranger. Kendall puts the finishing touches on Dino Super Charge Mode, not realizing she is using a tainted computer. The Rangers head out to test the Dino Super Charge mode, but it goes haywire and the Red Ranger's corrupt charger causes him to act like ferocious T-Rex. Singe and Wrench show up and admit to corrupting their computer system and immediately start attacking the Rangers. The Pink and Purple Rangers try to restrain Tyler, but he escapes into the forest. The rest of the team uses the powers of the Hypnotize and Blaze Dino Chargers to defend themselves and escape safely, but they still need to track down and reverse the damage done by Tyler's corrupt Dino Charger. Meanwhile, Snide agrees to give Singe more power and sends Hunter to help Ninja track down the Red Ranger and finish him off. The Rangers spot them in the woods and attack. The Black Ranger tries to calm Tyler down, but it's no use and Tyler goes in for the attack. Suddenly, the Aqua Ranger jumps in and saves him. He reveals himself to be Tyler's missing father, James! James pleads with the Red Ranger. With the realization that his father has returned, Tyler is finally able to overcome the virus within him, and de-morphs. Tyler and his Dad have a brief emotional reunion before they all go to help the others. They join the other Rangers in their fight against Ninja and Hunter. Hunter gets pummelled and escapes. Tyler morphs and insists on fighting Ninja alone. He uses the Dino Super Charge mode for the first time, and destroys Ninja. The Rangers call the Plesio Charge Megazord and defeat Ninja once and for all.

Zenowing tells the Rangers his back story: he came to Earth millions of years ago, looking for Keeper, but could not find him. What he did find was the Silver Energem. He bonded to it, and soon built the Zords. But then he heard news that elsewhere in the universe, Lord Arcanon had found the Dark Energem. He left Earth to try and destroy the Dark Energem. On the crashed ship, Doomwing has the Silver Energem, but Lord Arcanon is not happy as he can't morph without Zenowing! They must bond Zenowing to Doomwing again in order to gain the powers of the Silver Ranger. As the Rangers train in the woods, Zenowing is unwilling to work with them. He refuses to teach Riley his special move, the Silver Prism slash. He says they are unprepared for what Lord Arcanon can do, and continues his telling his story. While pursuing the Dark Energem, Zenowing was caputred by Lord Arcanon and forced to touch the Dark Energem, splitting his personality into two beings (the same thing that happened to Heckyl and Snide). Zenowing was enslaved as his bad side, Doomwing, pledged his allegiance to Lord Arcanon. Now that Zenowing and Doomwing have been split apart, Zenowing is determined to get the Silver Energem back and once again become the Silver Ranger. Doomwing and Lord Arcanon attack them in the woods, and Zenowing refuses the Rangers help, but as Power Rangers they help any way they can. The Green Ranger jumps in to save Zenowing from a blast, and is badly hurt. At the Base, Zenowing tries to blame Riley for getting hurt, as he had warned him not to help, but after talking to Keeper, he realizes that perhaps after being alone for all these years, he's forgotten what he is fighting for. On the ship, Wrench resurrects a huge amount of monsters to help Doomwing, but he does it so quickly that they're fiawed. They are immediately sent out to attack. Zenowing uses his alien powers to try and heal Riley, but it looks like they're not working. Kendall lets Zenowing know that the Doomwing is back with more monsters and the Rangers need help. Zenowing finds Doomwing in the woods and the two of them fight. Lord Arcanon tries to touch Zenowing with the Dark Energem, but is stopped at the last minute by a fully recovered Riley using the Silver Prism Slash move. Having been healed by Zenowing's magic, he was also able to use Silver's powers to save him. The Rangers fight the rest of the monsters, and Zenowing is able to get the Silver Energem and morph into the Silver Ranger for the first time. After a vicious battle, the Silver Ranger is able to destroy Doomwing once and for all. Zenowing and Riley thank each other - Zenowing is now truly part of their team and has learned gratitude and teamwork from the Rangers. At the end, Heckyl sees Lord Arcanon holding the Dark Energem for the first time and a memory comes back to him - Lord Arcanon is the one who destroyed his planet, and touched him with the Dark Energem to create Snide!
Freaky Fightday

Snide convinces Lord Arcanon that he will help him get the Energems using Professor Strickler, who can swap people's bodies-including their mannerisms and personality traits. They plan to use Professor Strickler's Chalk Duster on the Rangers to swap their bodies, thus confusing them and leaving their Energems susceptible to be taken. Snide convinces Lord Arcanon to steal the Rangers' Split Emmiter to separate himself from Heckyl and serve Lord Arcanon. Meanwhile, the Rangers are trying to catch the person who has been vandalizing the museum with graffiti. They're shocked when they learn that the culprit, Zach, looks exactly like Ivan. It turns out, he's his descendant! Ivan takes it upon himself to set him on the right path. But, it is Riley who teaches Zach that vandalism is wrong, even if it is art. Still believing Zach's art is not art at all, Ivan tries to teach him what real art is with a painting lesson. When Zach paints a modern version of the Knight of Zandar, Ivan hurts his feelings by not liking it. When the Rangers are attacked by Professor Strickler who brought along Gameface and Nightmare, their bodies are swapped and they are utterly confused trying to adjust to their new bodies and weapons. Back in the Base, Kendall is trying to find a way to fix it. They also find Zach's painting, and think it's amazing. Keeper and Zenowing help Ivan realize that he is not respecting other people's tastes, and he goes to apologize to Zach (in Riley's body). The Rangers track down the monsters and battle them, eventually getting their own bodies back and destroying the monsters. On the ship, Lord Arcanon allows Heckyl and Snide to be split apart with the Rangers' Split Emitter, which Wrench has retrieved and fixed. The spilt is successful and Heckyl is taken prisoner while Snide begins to serve Lord Arcanon.
Worgworld

Tyler, Shelby, Riley, Chase, Ivan and Kendall are disappointed in the performance of one of the museum's exhibitions - Worg, an animatronic caveman, who looks very similar to Koda, which just can't seem to draw in visitors. Koda feels a certain kinship to the animatronic Neanderthal, knowing that if not for his Ranger friends, he might be alone like Worg. Koda insists there's some use to Worg, but Worg just keeps malfunctioning. Meanwhile, Heckyl has escaped Sledge's ship, but Snide is not concerned. They send out the black and white phantoms known as Conductro and Screech, who play their evil instruments' music to turn anyone who hears it into a zombie like state, to attack the Rangers. When Tyler, Riley, Chase, Shelby and Ivan are turned into "zombies", they threaten Koda. Koda is able to block his ears to avoid the music and kicks the evil instrument away from the monsters, saving his friends. Lord Arcanon and Snide aren't happy with the performance of the Conductro and Screech. Arcanon decides that they should use massive speakers to blast the same evil music all over Amber Beach so that everyone is affected. Thankfully, Kendall devises a way to help the Rangers go outside without being affected by the evil music. When the music blasts all over town, the Rangers realize there's a huge wall of "zombies" between them and the audio source. Just when they're being attacked, Koda goes to get Worg. He sends the animatronic caveman through the zombies, which distracts them long enough for the Rangers to get past. The Rangers find the player and destroy it, but are then face to face with Lord Arcanon. Arcanon uses the Dark Energem to give him more power. Lord Arcanon, who now has an evil green glow to him, grows giant. The Rangers fight back in the Megazord and finally destroy him for good in an epically awesome battle. It seems as though there is a little bit of life left in Lord Arcanon, but he's squashed for good, by none other than SLEDGE! Because of Koda and Worg, the Teens have learned that just because you can't immediately see a use for something, it doesn't mean it's useless. Much to Koda's delight, Worg finds his calling as an aerobics instructor at the museum.
The Rangers Rock

On his crashed ship, Sledge explains where he has been all this time. As the ship crashed at the end of last season, Sledge was struggling to escape the wreckage when he stumbled upon the perfect plan to destroy the Power Rangers once and for all. He came across a nest of eggs in Greenzilla's jail cell and after making a deal with Heckyl to let him free, he took the Greenzilla eggs and went off around the world to put the pieces in place for Earth's destruction. Sledge orders Wrench to start working on making the ship fiy again. From a distance, James has been watching all this. Zenowing is in the midst of teaching Shelby how he built the Zords. Because of their association with dinosaur spirits, she is keen to learn how it happened. They're interrupted when James comes back and says he's located the monsters' Base, and that Sledge is back and working hand in hand with Snide. Shelby is the one who suggests they sneak onto Sledge's ship and steal the Dark Energem. They set out, and Sledge sets Badussa, who has an amulet that if looked at directly will turn the victim to stone, on them. A battle ensues, but Badussa's amulet turns Koda, Kendall, Ivan, Riley and Tyler into stone! Heckyl shows up, and to Shelby's surprise, he saves her. Because some of the Rangers have turned to stone, the remaining Rangers can't form the Megazord. The others ask Shelby to try and build a Zord after what Zenowing has taught her, but she blames herself for what happened to her friends and loses all of her confidence. In the end, they convince her to try. With the skull of the Spinosaurus, she's able to use everything the Zenowing taught her and build the Spino Zord! In the woods, Shelby, Prince Phillip, Keeper and James learn that Heckyl and Snide are now split, and that he was a survivor from Centai-6. Again, Heckyl helps Shelby to destroy Badussa's amulet when he attacks them. The stone Rangers return to normal, and Badussa is defeated with the brand new Spino Megazord. Meanwhile, Wrench has successfully repaired Sledge's ship and it lifts off into space. Now the monsters are ready to put their final plan into play to get the Energems once and for all.
Edge of Extinction

Sledge and Poisandra are set to be married, but when the Rangers discover a Greenzilla egg in Amber Beach and destroy it, the wedding is put on hold. Snide is sent down to earth by Sledge to find the missing egg and loses the Dark Energem in the process.

Keeper escapes the Ranger Base when it comes under attack by Fury. The Rangers receive a message from Sledge, explaining he will use the Greenzilla Eggs as anchors to pull earth out of orbit.
