In the series opener, Joe and his team hit the ground running. With only ten days left till the next auction, the hunt is on. The team attempts to set straight an Internet rumor that one of the original sharks from the movie Jaws has been on display in a junkyard to attract visitors. Joe and his right hand man, Brian, journey to the junkyard only to discover a sun-damaged and poorly taken care of shark prominently on display in the desert sun. Next, an avid collector of Lost in Space memorabilia has traveled to Profiles in History from the East Coast with hopes of adding to his collection. Joe meets with him and showcases a handful of items. A thoroughly impressed collector leaves the showroom but was it enough to entice the collector into attending the upcoming auction? Then in Chicago, Joe investigates the claim of a young man alleged to have the screen-used carpet bag from the 1960s Disney classic, Mary Poppins. The bag has been in his family his whole life and was purportedly won in a promotional raffle during the film’s release nearly fifty years ago. Joe rescues the bag from a dark, dank basement with the hopes that it may indeed be real.

At the Profiles in History archives, Joe Maddalena’s team, Brian Chanes and Jon Mankuta, search for an unknown treasure that might be stored right under their own noses. They locate a box of costumes said to possess a priceless piece of wardrobe: what may be an original costume worn by Bella Lugosi in his second film, White Zombie. If the coat can be authenticated it will easily fetch upwards of six digits. Joe travels to the Midwest to personally visit the owner of the legendary Wicked Witch of the West’s hat from The Wizard of Oz and must convince the owner to let go of her 21-year love affair with the hat. The pressure is on for Special Events Coordinator Tracey McHall to deliver props from the personal collection of a star of 60’s television, Dawn Wells, better known as Mary Anne from Gilligan’s Island, who shares her collection of iconic wardrobe and prop items from the series. Later at the Sony Pictures movie lot in Los Angeles, Joe gets a one-of-a-kind tour through their prestigious archives. Like a kid in a candy store, Joe peruses props from some of the most recognizable movies and television shows of all time. The head archivist rarely parts with the lot’s property... but Joe makes his best case for a not so small piece of film history.

Joe Maddalena rallies his troops as they descend on Comic Con, an annual fan convention held in San Diego. The hunt is on and after a day of rubbing elbows with celebrities, Joe meets Erin Grey, better known as Col. Wilma Deering from the sci-fi classic, Buck Rogers. The team also discovers an original Fantastic Four comic book. To substantiate its authenticity, they turn to the comic’s infamous creator, Stan Lee. Later, with the remake of The Green Hornet on the horizon, Joe travels to Chicago to meet with a well-known collector of Bruce Lee memorabilia. Once the movie is released, any memorabilia from the franchise will skyrocket. Will Joe’s timing be impeccable? After two items drop out at the last minute, Joe leaps into action to save his upcoming auction. In Santa Monica, CA, he sees a collection that’s out of this world but is brought back to Earth when he learns he can only choose one item.

Meanwhile back in Los Angeles, Special Events Coordinator Tracey McHall is tasked to authenticate an item from the Syfy series, Stargate SG-1. Christopher Judge, Teal'c from the series, visits Profiles in History to lend a hand. Later, a collection of original set photography from the 1933 classic King Kong has emerged and the daughter of the photographer turns to Profiles in History to help auction her father’s legacy. If Joe can verify an original screen-used prop’s authenticity and piece together a King Kong collection for his upcoming auction, he will attract some of the film’s elite enthusiasts.

Joe Maddalena and his team plan a trip to the English countryside to hunt down several iconic items hidden in the country. First, Joe’s Acquisitions and Consignment Relations manager, Brian Chanes, hunts down an old business contact hoping to find some haunted relics to include in the upcoming auction, Harvey Stephens, the child actor who played Damien in one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, "The Omen". Harvey welcomes Joe, Brian and Joe’s Special Events Coordinator, Tracey McCall, into his home and shares behind-the-scenes moments from the making of the film. More importantly, he shows them his original costume and famed prop used during prominent scenes from the film. Joe wants the items for auction but is Harvey willing to let go of these pieces from his childhood? Later, the team travel off the beaten track and deep in the English countryside to pay a visit to the privately owned leather shop of one of Hollywood’s premiere leather makers, Peter Botwright. Peter is the creator of the original Indiana Jones bomber jacket as well as many other significant pieces from movie history.

Joe Maddalena and his team are gearing up for the next auction. They discuss a possible consignor, Paul Mayer, owner of one of the largest animation archives in the world. Paul was the personal archivist and dear friend to Walter Lantz, famed creator of Woody Woodpecker and many other cherished childhood cartoons. Paul has spent his life building a substantial collection in hopes of one day opening a children’s television museum. Sadly, his dreams were thwarted by constant health struggles. Joe wants to help Paul and bring his work into the auction. Joe and his Acquisitions and Consignment Relations manager, Brian Chanes, travel into Hollywood to visit with Paul, whose collection dates back to the birth of animation. Entering his apartment, it’s clear that the sheer volume of this collection has taken over not only Paul’s space but also his life. Joe and Brian scale shelves and dig through boxes in efforts to unearth lost treasures. Their hard work pays off as they make a wondrous discovery. Back at the office, Joe’s special events coordinator, Tracey McCall, continues to hit roadblocks in her hunt for a signature piece for the upcoming auction. She’s frustrated and feeling the weight of the looming deadline. Finding a piece of the famed yellow brick road from the Wizard of Oz is at the top of Joe’s agenda. He tasks the team with making it happen. The goal is to get him a meeting with one of the last surviving principle cast members from the movie, one of the original lollipop kids, Jerry Marin.

Joe, Brian and Tracey head to London and meet with Julie Dawn Cole, the actress who played Veruca Salt in the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The golden ticket she holds in her hands may be Joe’s ticket to ride through the next auction. Meanwhile, Jon is responsible for transporting precious cargo to a collector and unearthing one of Joe’s lost treasures, the cowardly lion’s Courage Badge from the Wizard of Oz. Thirty years ago, Joe was outbid at auction for the piece by a private collector. He has not had the opportunity to buy the piece since, but Jon tracks down the collector who outbid Joe and sets up a meeting. Joe is thrilled to finally hold the badge in his hands, but can he convince the collector to part with the piece? Joe and Jon travel to New York City to deliver the Lost In Space pod to John Azarian, a collector who specializes in 1960’s television memorabilia. While at his home, John shares his massive and jaw-dropping collection with them. Back in Los Angeles, Joe and Jon meet with a collector who owns original Bob Kane artwork from the Batman comic as well as a prop from Jurassic Park.

They hit the jackpot when they get a score: some Sleeping Beauty concept art. Meanwhile, Special Events Coordinator Tracey McCall is after some items from the classic TV series, The Munsters. Perseverance pays off when she lands a meeting for Joe with Helen Darras, a friend of Butch Patrick, the actor who played Eddie Munster. Helen decides that she will consign the screen-used jacket Butch gave her. Later, a special package is delivered to the Profiles in History office containing two infamous and valuable comic books: Superman #1 and the Green Hornet.

Joe Maddalena goes to the Legacy Effects Studios to meet with Matt Winston and Erich Litoff, the son and son-in-law of Stan Winston, to help them identify and appraise some of their father’s pieces. They dig through hundreds of Winston artifacts, and marvel at the Incredible Hulk statue, the T-600 Endoskeleton, as well as concept art from Edward Scissorhands and Predator. Back at the office, Joe’s team enlists various experts to help identify some of the more mysterious pieces found from the Winston collection. Later, Joe asks Special Events Coordinator, Tracey McCall, to plan an upcoming charity auction to support Variety the Children’s Charity, an organization he has supported for years.

Joe Maddalena meets with his team to discuss the next auction catalog and its looming deadline. Brian has leads on Jerry Lewis's costume from The Nutty Professor and the 9-foot-tall Lawgiver statue from Planet of the Apes. Joe and Brian try and convince collector Ed Gogin to consign his Lawgiver statue, which could be worth over $100,000. Next, Brian and Jon pay a visit to Bill Boyd, a collector who has Jerry Lewis's costume from The Nutty Professor. Bill is willing to consign the costume, but only when he feels the timing is right: six months from now, when the Nutty Professor musical is on Broadway. Back at the office, Brian gets some unexpected good news -- Joe Moe, the caretaker of the late sci-fi and horror icon Forrest J. Ackerman, has some items from Ackerman's collection that he might be willing to consign. Joe has his eye on a collection of life masks of horror icons like Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff, but Joe Moe refuses to give them up. Instead, he consigns two very obscure items: a bound collection of German fantasy magazines and a piece of advertising art for an early book of horror stories. The magazines turn out to be a complete set of Der Orchideengarten, the first fantasy magazine ever published, and the art is by the extremely influential writer Robert W. Chambers. Later, Tracey comes through with items from Stargate SG-1. Joe and Tracey meet actor Christopher Judge at a production warehouse to look at the treasure trove of over 30 costumes and props from the show.

Joe Maddalena and his Special Projects Manager, Jon Mankuta, travel to New York City to meet with collector Peter Lutrario. Peter shows them his Superman fanzine, a comic book created by a fan, extremely rare and valuable. As Joe works to get the consignment, Peter also shares a couple of his most cherished pieces, the original Rudolph and Santa Claus puppets from the classic Christmas special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Meanwhile back in Los Angeles, Joe’s Acquisitions and Consignment Relations manager, Brian Chanes, and Special Events Coordinator Tracey McCall meet up with actor Eddie McClintock, who plays Secret Service agent Peter Lattimer on Syfy’s Warehouse 13. Eddie is willing to consign his Tesla guns from the series, but wants the money raised at auction to be donated to a charitable organization. Later, Brian meets with Colin Ferguson, who plays Sheriff Jack Carter on Syfy’s Eureka, to consign his costume from the show. Still in New York, Joe and Jon meet with another avid memorabilia collector, Jim Manning. Jim is in the process of building a museum of movie memorabilia and has gone as far as building a climate control vault to protect and preserve his pieces. He shows them his animation cells from The Grinch that Stole Christmas and the Gizmo and Daffy puppet from Gremlins 2. Joe wants all of it.

Wizard of Oz super-fan Joe is on a quest for his personal holy grail, the greatest movie artifact of all time, Dorothy's Ruby Slippers of Oz, brazenly stolen from a smashed museum display case. Joe wants to reopen the case, and meets with shoes' last owner, Michael Shaw, to get his blessing. The theft exposes the dark side of memorabilia collecting as Joe travels halfway across the country to the scene of the crime and meets with an investigator to learn there is only one real clue left. A huge reward is offered for anyone who can solve Hollywood’s greatest mystery. Joe’s staff are beating the bushes to turn up items from the blockbuster franchise Back to the Future for the fast approaching auction to raise funds for Michael J. Fox’s foundation, Team Fox, to cure Parkinson’s disease. Tracy scores a meeting with the creator of Back to the Future, Bob Gale, to generate donations for the Team Fox cause. As the Back to the Future items trickle in, the team jumps into high gear. With a high-profile charity auction on the line, will they come through for the cause?

Joe Maddalena is just the man for the job, but first he needs to take stock of her massive inventory, which includes the original Arabian style Wizard of Oz ruby slippers, and Marilyn Monroe’s iconic subway-scene dress from The Seven Year Itch. Back in Los Angeles, Brian Chanes meets with a collector who claims to own a spacesuit chest-pack from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Manager Steven Kirk wants the Profiles in History crew to take a look around and hopefully Joe can find some diamonds in the rough. An anonymous consigner sends Joe an Invisible Man poster, but he needs to make sure it is authentic since its provenance is questionable, so he heads over to Poster Mountain. Joe and Jon are in Philadelphia, PA in search of something for Joe’s personal collection.

Joe Maddalena, Jon Mankuta and Tracey McCall travel to North Carolina to visit collector and military contractor Wesley Cannon’s "man cave." Wesley’s collection of horror movie memorabilia is impressive, but finding a stash of Jim Henson items is the real coup.
Back at the office, Brian Chanes is authenticating a gobstopper from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Joe then meets with director Mel Stuart, who has some personal items that he is willing to consign. But the big mystery revolves around a possible alternate ending in the original script and Joe is eager to talk to Mel about it. Then, Joe and Jon track down what appears to be Robin’s sidecar from the 1960’s Batman television series. Of course, there is only one person who can truly authenticate it -- Burt Ward.

It’s time for Joe Maddalena’s annual Appraisal Fair. Joe and his team set up shop at the Screen Actors Guild to meet with the public, who will bring them their props and Hollywood memorabilia items for review. Before the team heads out the door, Tracey McCall tells them she's following her own leads instead of going to the fair. Jon Mankuta and prop expert Jesse D’Angelo are skeptical, but Joe proposes a challenge: whoever brings him the best item wins a trip to Hawaii. The hunt is on. At the Appraisal Fair, Jon and Jesse scour the crowd for great items to bring to Joe. Jon scores early with a rare Sheena, Queen of the Jungle costume. Jesse finds a Men in Black piece, but the owner won't consign. Meanwhile, Tracey searches the racks at Roxy Deluxe, a massive costume rental house. She finds Jeff Bridges' "Dude" sweater from The Big Lebowski. Will it be enough to beat Jon and Jesse? A Hawaiian vacation is on the line, and it all comes down to the auction.

Joe Maddalena and Jon Mankuta are on the road and heading to New Jersey to meet with John Azarian, a prolific 1960s sci-fi collector. John shows the team Ewoks, Storm Troopers, Light Sabers and laser pistols from his favorite show Lost in Space. Impressed by the wide array of items, Joe asks John what else he needs for the collection. John is always looking for more Lost in Space items so Joe gets all hands on deck to find an elusive LIS piece to add to Azarian’s collection. Hoping to find Lost in Space items, Joe and Jon end up in Atlanta, Georgia. Unbeknownst to Jon, the late Joe Lombardi’s work lays hidden away in a warehouse on the Raleigh Studios lot. Lombardi was a special effects pioneer who worked on King Kong, Star Trek, and Apocalypse Now. The co-owner of Raleigh Studios and grandnephew to Lombardi opens the vault to unveil racks upon racks of props and special effects items. Joe and Jon are overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of items in the warehouse. Joe discovers a mask from the 1980s King Kong Lives, while Jon discovers a 1960’s saucer from the 1960s TV show, My Favorite Martian. Back in Los Angeles, Jon takes the King Kong mask to Isodoro Raponi, a special effects expert who worked on the movies. As Isodoro inspects the mask, he reveals an unexpected surprise. Later, Tracey McCall comes through with a solid lead for Lost in Space - a Lost in Space spacesuit perfect for John Azarian’s collection.
Chitty Chitty Bid Bid

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, one of the most celebrated cinematic cars in film history, has finally made it to Los Angeles. The vintage car could generate one million dollars at auction. Meanwhile, Brian Chanes meets with collector George Klimek, who has bought some incredible movie pieces over the past 20 years. George isn’t sure if his items are valuable so he’s called on Brian for an appraisal. A fully outfitted Predator appears to be real, so Brian calls in Joe Maddalena and prop consultant, Mike Moore.
Joe returns to the loft to learn that Chitty has been booked to appear with the legendary star, Dick Van Dyke, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. But it has to get there first, through Los Angeles traffic and crazy drivers. Will Chitty make it to the show in time to reunite with Dick Van Dyke? The next day, Joe comes to the office with a letter from Walt Disney to his best friend, Ub Iwerks, begging him to leave Kansas and come to Hollywood. Ub takes Walt up on his offer, moves to California, and creates the most famous cartoon character ever -- Mickey Mouse.
The Zombie and the Rocketeer

Joe Maddalena pays a house call to his friend Frank Darabont, the legendary director behind The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Walking Dead. Frank wants to auction some items to raise money for earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan. This is great news to Joe who knows Frank to be a great collector. Frank pulls out boxes of props and rare items from The Shawshank Redemption, and also gives Joe two great leads.
Meanwhile, Jesse D’Angelo and Brian Chanes attend Monsterpalooza, a massive gathering of horror artists and sci-fi icons. The guys hunt through the maze of booths, talking to B-movie actresses and blockbuster creature designers until they run into an artist with a helmet from The Rocketeer. The only problem is, it doesn't look like the real deal to Brian. Can he authenticate it and get the consignment, or is the day a bust?
Joe follows up on Frank’s leads and heads to KNB Efx with Tracey McCall and Jon Mankuta in tow to meet up with Greg Nicotero, the makeup wizard behind Academy Award winning, Chronicles of Narnia and The Walking Dead. Greg exhumes a gruesome prop for the charity auction, and Tracey gets an extreme makeover that gives the guys the creeps. Later, Joe and Jon crack open Frank Darabont's storage unit, where they find Green Mile props and make a shocking discovery that could spark up intense bidding at auction.
A Borg in the Basement

Joe Maddalena and Tracey McCall head to the Paley Center in Beverly Hills after receiving a call about some mysterious crates that have been found in the facility’s storage. They are believed to be the remnants of a Star Trek franchise exhibit from 15 years ago. Joe discovers costumes and make-up applications used to dress mannequins for Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and The Next Generation characters.
Tracey informs the team at Profiles in History that Joe’s 50th birthday is coming up, so she takes Jesse D’Angelo and Jon Mankuta shopping to find the perfect gift. They discover a large-scale model of Captain Nemo’s Nautilus, but decide the item is perfect for auction. So what about Joe’s birthday? Jon comes to the rescue and finds the perfect present for Joe, plus a special guest to present it -- Felix Silla of Buck Rogers.
