Since Horace enjoyed winning a few games, he's decided he's not going to play anything anymore unless he's sure he can win. He starts playing tricks on the others in order to win races, contests, etc. And when he does win, he gloats. Pretty soon, no one wants to play with him. Yaya suggests he try playing against himself: his right arm against his left arm.

The children are doing drawings for a banquet at Graziella's Airline Pilot Association. Horace is especially secretive about his drawing and won't show it to the others. When they finally sneak a look at his work, they see that it is completely abstract -- with angles, splotches, etc. -- while theirs are traditional. They tell Horace his work is weird and his feelings are hurt.
The Dress-Up Contest

The kids are having a dress-up contest with old clothes from Yaya's steamer trunk. Wimzie is elected judge against her wishes -- she'd rather participate. She's about to turn down the job, but each kid privately gives her one of their special toys to get her to vote for them. She now thinks that judging is a pretty good deal, but Yaya makes her realize what she's about to do is dishonest. Besides, how can there be three first-place winners at the same contest?

Wimzie is into saying and calling things "stupid" at a time when the kids are discussing getting an allowance. Wimzie does not get an allowance asks her parents to give her one. Rousso and Graziella discuss the matter and agree to giving her a small amount every week. But Wimzie is unable to save any since Yaya decides to fine anyone who says "stupid". Eventually, Wimzie doesn't have enough money to buy what she wants from Mrs. Ferris' garage sale.
Be Yourself

Jonas unintentionally ruins everyone's fun by insisting on playing every game by the rules, while Wimzie feels like inventing imaginative (but unscientific) ways to play them. No one wants to pick Jonas on their teams because he spoils the fun. Since Wimzie's way seems to be more popular, Jonas decides to be as silly as her. But he overdoes it and makes a fool of himself.
The Boys Against The Girls

The kids get into a spat about who's better -- boys or girls. An innocent conversation about fairy tale characters turns into a debate on sexual equality. Yaya tries to explain that women and men are different but equal and can't be compared. To find out who "the weaker sex" is, Jonas suggests some experiments: sculpting, whistling, playing statue, etc. The final score is a tie. Taking the conversation as far away as possible from the original gender debate, Yaya explain that winning happens when we do what we like to do and/or because of lots of practice, etc. Rousso and Graziella come in and, unaware of Yaya's efforts, end up fueling the gender the discussion again. Yaya gives up.
The Storm

At night, a thunderstorm spooks Wimzie. Rousso and Graziella comfort her while Bo just snores away. The next day, Jonas and Horace say the storm didn't scare them. However, Loulou has no problem admitting she was scared and, since more storms are on the rise, she'd rather stay close to Yaya who happens to be baking her "Thunder Cake" designed for kids who are afraid of thunder. One loud crack of thunder later, Loulou's not the only one eating cake. Everyone is scared. Rousso explains that thunder is not dangerous even if it is very loud.
You Have to Learn the Trade

As Wimzie plays with her new favorite toy, a hand puppet called Mr. George, Horace and Loulou are trading personal things between each other. Jonas comes in wearing a great new vest that Wimzie would love to have. She suggests a trade but Jonas will agree to give his vest only in return for Mr. George. No way, says Wimzie. Later, Graziella returns from work with a Pilot-of-the-Year plaque and a model plane of her jet. She gives the plane to Wimzie, as a little present. The plane doesn't knock Wimzie out, so when Jonas offers to trade his vest for the plane, she agrees.
Substitute Dad

Horace's dad is away on a two-week business trip. Horace feels sad and misses his father. To help her friend feel better, Wimzie suggests that Rousso be Horace's pretend dad. But after a while, Wimzie become jealous, resenting the fact that Rousso spends so much time with Horace. Rousso suspects nothing and continues inviting Horace to stay for the weekend and to the movies (Wimzie can't go since she has a play date) and, to top it off, he even asks him to watch a show he and Wimzie usually watch together. Wimzie ends up cooped up in her room.
Wimzie the Magician

Wimzie wants to know how Rousso does his "magic" parlor tricks, but Rousso can't tell her because of the magician's code never to reveal how a trick is done. But if she wants to be a magician, he'll train her. Once she's practiced, Wimzie performs her tricks for her friends. Loulou becomes frightened, thinking that Wimzie is a "real" magician who can turn people into toads and other unpalatable creatures. The only way to convince Loulou otherwise is to show her how the trick is done... but that would mean violating the magician's code.
The Best Hiding Place on Earth

Jonas boasts that his scientific seeking method can find anybody's hiding place. A hide-and-seek challenge is made with Wimzie determined to not to be found. She and Loulou hide in a great hiding place, which Jonas can't find. He refuses to give up and say "uncle". Wimzie and Loulou refuse to come out, determined to foil Jonas' boasts. Graziella and Rousso want to take the kids to a movie and ask Jonas and Horace to round up the girls. Wimzie thinks it's one of Jonas' tricks to get them to reveal themselves and she decides to stay put. The adults are annoyed and then become worried as they suspect that the girls are missing or hurt.
The Jingle

The kids enter the "find a jingle" contest for the Bananabits cereal. The best jingle gets the author a Rockin' Rollin' Wagon. But to get it, the winner must also play his jingle for a TV ad. Wimzie wins with her jingle about the great taste of Bananabits. But after one bite of the famous cereal, she realizes she hates the taste. She decides she can't do the commercial and lie to the kids watching TV. The others remind her that she won't get the wagon unless she does the commercial. She changes her mind in order to get the wagon, but still can't stomach Bananabits.
Mind Your Manners

At breakfast one morning, Wimzie is wiping her hands on her shirt, eating with her fingers and belching. Graziella, Rousso and Yaya explain that people don't like bad manners and that good manners make everyone feel more comfortable. But Wimzie says that all her friends eat with their fingers and burp and think it's funny. Later in days, the children come back from a birthday party where the other kids called Wimzie a "piggy" because she didn't have good manners.
Picking A President

Rousso is practicing his campaign speech for his attempt at becoming President of the Firefighters Fraternal Federation, which gives the kids the idea to form their own club. They decide on a Recycling Club and vote on who should be president. Each kid votes for himself, except for Loulou, who doesn't want to be part of a club. Yaya suggests they make campaign posters and vote again. Again, they vote for themselves. They ask Loulou to join the club, figuring that she'll vote for one of them and break the stalemate.
We Can Do It!

The children keep asking Yaya to solve problems they could very well fix on their own if they gave a bit of thought. Rousso agrees and the new rule is that, even if adults are always happy to help, the children should first try to solve certain issues by themselves. Later, when everyone has a specific project to do, they each encounter some difficulty. Their first instinct is to go to Yaya for help.
The Accident

Loulou comes to daycare with her leg in a cast. Horace, Wimzie and Bo are quite impressed and interested in the whole situation. However, Jonas seems very grumpy. At first, Yaya thinks he's jealous of the attention Loulou is getting so she suggests playing a game that he would like. Loulou agrees and says that Jonas is a good big brother. Jonas then bursts into tears and runs out. Eventually, Yaya learns that Jonas feels responsible for his sister getting hurt since Loulou tripped on a roller skate he'd left on the floor... after his mom had asked him to put it away safely.

Wimzie and the kids figure out a way to keep Yaya out of the kitchen while they mix the batter for a special "Happy Birthday Yaya" cake. Loulou will pretend to lose her favourite blankie -- which in fact they hide in a tree -- and will take Yaya on a wild goose chase everywhere but in the kitchen to look for it. Horace has to leave for a dentist appointment but, just as he's ready to go, the blankie falls from the tree. In a rush, Horace picks it up and leaves to go to the dentist. Later, when the cake is ready and the surprise is out -- but Horace is not yet back from the dentist -- the blankie can't be found.
The Dropsies

Wimzie is being careless and is dropping and breaking lots of stuff, claiming every time that "it's an accident." She becomes upset when the kids won't let her touch their things for fear that she might destroy them. When Yaya tells a ghost story, Wimzie decides that a ghost in the house makes her drop things. She decides to stay up all night in order to bribe the ghost with candy and make it go away.
Icky, Yucky And Goofy

While waiting for a butterfly to burst out of a cocoon, the children compare the "icky" cocoon exterior to Wimzie's hair. Wimzie takes it to heart and starts wearing a football helmet to cover up her "ugly" hair. Graziella and Rousso try object lessons in not listening to what others say about you to convince Wimzie she's got nice hair but to no avail. Later, Rousso needs a family photo taken for an award he's receiving but Wimzie refuses to take off her helmet. Yaya shows up with a pair of ridiculous-looking sunglasses that she's wearing because one of her friends told her she had "buggy" eyes.

Horace, Wimzie and Jonas are playing games that Loulou is either too unskilled or too small to play. They start taking advantage of her because she's the smallest; they also con her into doing their chores and clean-ups in exchange for letting her participate in their play. In the meantime, Yaya has promised the children special treats if they all do their chores promptly and well. But Yaya discovers what the older children are up to with Loulou. When it comes time to give out the treats, she arranges it so that Loulou is the last in line; when she gets to her, there are no treats left.
Growing Pains

Loulou is three and a bit, but she's still too little to do a lot of things. She can't help Rousso repair a ball throwing contraption. She can't help Yaya dust the high shelves in the kitchen. She can't play baseball with the big kids. Even Horace's new game says "For ages 4 to 7." So she tries to make herself bigger with a pair of high-heeled shoes, but soon takes a tumble. Yaya explains that growing up happens gradually, one day at a time, and that eating lots of good things will help her grow. Loulou takes Yaya to her word and begins to eat and eat and eat... Needless to say, she makes herself sick and is saddened to learn that eating copiously will not make her grow quickly either. In the meantime, Rousso seems to have repaired the famous ball thrower.

Rousso has some fun calling Wimzie "Wizzie" as a name of endearment. He's even writing a song about it. Wimzie doesn't really like the name but doesn't want to tell her dad for fear that he'll get angry. Loulou offers to trade names with Wimzie for the time it would take to go and talk to Rousso. The girls execute their plan but when Loulou talks to Rousso, he thinks she's talking about herself, which does nothing for the Wimzie-Wizzie problem.
A Little Bit Testy

Rousso is busy counting pennies. Though he tries to concentrate, his task is doomed since he keeps getting interrupted every time he's about to finish. Yaya, for her part, is having fun taking a magazine test. The children express an interest, and Yaya explains that this particular test is designed to determine what one might succeed in later on. The children, however, understand only that tests are a way they can rate themselves against each other. They begin taking a few tests of their own. The tests were designed to entertain, but the fun turns competitive as the children begin comparing their scores.
A Very Noisy Day... And Night

Wimzie and her friends are making a lot of noise. They disturb Rousso, who is busy studying for his annual fire fighting examination, and prevent Bo from taking his nap. Yaya asks them to play using their "inside voices," but the children keep forgetting. The daycare is noisy today! The neighbor's dog spends the following night howling, despite Rousso's efforts to quiet him. Yaya feels the neighbors have been inconsiderate. Everyone is sleepwalking the next morning.
Motherly Love

Horace sniffles and sneezes because he's allergic to the hair Jonas and Loulou bring back from home where they're catsitting. Horace can play with Wimzie only. Fine with Jonas, who's happy with his dirt collection and Loulou, who spends all her time with Yaya and becomes especially connected to her. In fact, Loulou declares that Yaya is like a second mom to her. Later at home, when Loulou tells her family about this, her mom starts crying. The following day, Jonas tells Loulou he thinks their mom was upset because of Loulou's admission that she has "another mommy". Loulou then decides to avoid Yaya who doesn't understand the sudden reversal.
I Don't Like Chores!

Wimzie doesn't like to do chores like making her bed or gathering up her laundry. Her mom explains that everyone in a family should share the work when they live in the same home. Wimzie, however, would rather be playing. While picking up a pair of dirty socks, she gets an idea: if she didn't live at home anymore, she wouldn't have to do chores! She decides to set her tent up in the back yard and declares herself independent. Yaya and Graziella agree the idea is brilliant and decide to do the same: no more chores for anyone! At snack time, Wimzie heads for the kitchen... only to find that Yaya hasn't prepared anything! Later, Wimzie dirties her vest. She goes inside to fetch a clean one and discovers that... her mom no longer does the laundry!
Imagination in Action

In this story, a lot of imagination and a little jealousy come into play. Loulou and Bo speak to each other in a made-up language and Yaya tries to learn it. Jonas comes to daycare with a pirate ship made from recycled objects, but it pales in comparison to Horace's super-duper store-bought space ship. Everyone prefers Horace's brand new toy, and that makes Jonas sad. Yaya encourages him to make his own space ship. So he does! And he does it so well, that now Horace is envious.
Promises, Promises, Promises

This is a day of promises and disappointments. Bad weather, a cold, and a host of other circumstances mar Wimzie and her family's weekend plans. And when everything finally seems to be set for their big visit to Monsterworld, Wimzie remembers that she herself had promised to go play with her friend Mitzi Moonstar that weekend... Even though no one is to blame for all these let-downs, Wimzie realizes that being disappointed is no fun for anyone.
