Inside Orochimaru’s hideout Guren witnesses Sasuke defeating a thousand opponents. Having lost the opportunity to be Orochimaru’s new vessel in the past, Guren openly express her jealousy toward Sasuke. Seeing through Guren’s emotional state, Orochimaru proposes a plan. Meanwhile, Kabuto and Yukimaru conduct their experiment to summon the Three-Tailed Beast. Drained from the experiment, Yukimaru is taken by Kabuto to a nearby hot spring to heal.
