Hot-button issues hit South Park in Season 8. In the “The Passion of the Jew” the boys see The Passion movie and demand their money back from Mel Gibson. Everyone gets wrapped up in celebrity worship—the girls of town idolize ditzy, rich, night-vision-sex-tape-making socialites (aka Stupid Spoiled Whores) and the boys all compete to be TV stars, doing anything for ratings. All this and television violence at its best with an awesome anime battle featuring the boys as ninjas and Professor Chaos.
