Power Apps Cookbook
MVP and noted Power Platform expert, Belinda Allen uses her Power Apps Cookbook application as a workbench for her hard-earned Power Apps creation and administration best practices. From a business perspective there are tons of relatable items, like Bill of Materials, Project Management, etc. Belinda plans to codify these best practices into a set of training courses-and you get to see them here first!
Practical AI Builder
In this session Brian Knight takes his years of Artificial Intelligence, SQL Server and Big data expertise and applies it to using AI Builder in the real world. If you haven’t looked at AI Builder it is a click and drag experience for using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning …and in this Brian section takes that to the next step showing how to use it in every day settings realizing real and immediate business value.
Integrating data sources with Flows
Power Automate provides advantages for retrieving and manipulating data. For example, Power Automate can use SharePoint Views to limit columns returned or invoke SQL stored procedures. This session will cover how to invoke a flow from Power Apps with parameters, how to retrieve data, manipulate the data as a JSON array and how to return the data to Power Apps as either separate values or a collection.
Belinda Allen
Belinda Allen is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Power BI (MVP). Belinda is currently a Microsoft Power Platform Trainer, Speaker and the Co-Author of 2 books on Business Intelligence and Microsoft Dynamics GP. Belinda focuses on the Microsoft Power Platform. She happily wears the title #CitizenDeveloper. Prior to focusing solely on training, Belinda was a principal at Smith & Allen Consulting, Inc. (SACI) in New York City. SACI was a Dynamics GP partner for over 25 years. She has always had a passion for reporting and business intelligence. Her skills include Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerApps and Flow, Microsoft Excel, and of course Dynamics GP. Brian Knight, has been recognized by Microsoft with MVP awards in both PowerApps and Microsoft SQL Server is an active community member, user group organizer, video creator and the the co-founder of Pragmatic Works,
SQLServerCentral.com and JumpstartTV.com. He is a SSIS expert who runs the local SQL Server users group in Jacksonville (JSSUG). Brian is a contributing columnist for several magazines and has authored more than 14 SQL Server related books. Paul Stork
Paul is the Owner/Principal Architect at Don’t Pa..Panic Consulting. He has been working in the information technology industry for over 30 years and has played key roles in several enterprise SharePoint architectural design review, Intranet deployment, application development, and migration projects. he has been awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for the last 12 consecutive years and earned his Microsoft Certified SharePoint Masters (MCSM) certification in 2013.
His core skills include architecting and customizing SharePoint environments both on-premises and in the cloud. He has significant experience leading SharePoint migration teams, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and evaluating SharePoint environments for adherence to “Best Practices” and industry standards. His current focus is on Office 365 security, DevOps using DSC, and Microsoft PowerApps/Flow. He’s authored several books and is a frequent contributor to the Microsoft Power Platform forums.
Todd Baginski
I’m a proud Partner, and the CTO at Canviz where I am currently leading several projects that include PowerApps, Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Framework, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, full web stack, and numerous other technologies.
Sharing my expertise and knowledge with others is important to me, I love to teach. I’ve been blessed to receive the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award for the last 13 years. This award recognizes my contributions to the technical communities I am a part of.
For over a decade, I have created close relationships with the Microsoft SharePoint & Azure teams which provides me access to early releases. My team and I work closely with the Microsoft teams before products are released publicly to develop training and samples that are distributed worldwide to architects and developers.
I give back to my local community by coaching and growing youth sports teams; emphasizing hard work, excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
