May 27, 2021

Congratulations on accepting your Microsoft Customer Agreement! The Microsoft Customer agreement offers new capabilities that can help you achieve more through your digital transformation.

If you purchased Azure from a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partner, continue working with your partner to set up your Azure environment. If you purchased Azure with assistance from a Microsoft sales representative, you’ll want to step through these important actions to start using Azure under your agreement.

  1. Transition the billing ownership from your old agreement to your new one.
    • If you’re a new Azure customer, you can skip straight to action #2.
    • For renewing Azure customers:
      • If you’re moving from the Enterprise Agreement, review your key transition steps here, and make sure to check out this FAQ.
      • If you’re moving from the Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement (buying Azure online), watch this short video, and find additional details in this step-by-step transition guide.
  2. Get an overview of how to set up and manage your billing account and learn about the powerful billing capabilities.
  3. Learn how the charges on your invoice work and take a step-by-step invoice tutorial.
  4. Understand how to organize your costs and to customize your billing to meet your needs.
  5. Learn how to manage who has access to your billing account and get an overview of how admin roles work in Azure.
