Devices large and small on display at UC Expo 2016

Making the Most of the Modern Workplace

If you’re planning on attending this year’s UC EXPO, Europe’s largest unified communications and collaboration event, you probably already have a sense of the ways in which cloud computing, and mobile technology are fundamentally transforming the way the world does business. In the modern workplace, not only do we have unprecedented flexibility in where we work together, but also how we work together.

Microsoft’s General Manager for Skype for Business, Andrew Sinclair, will be delving into what it means to be a part of the Modern Workplace. From the small (e.g., artificial intelligence in the palm of your hand) to the large (e.g., leveraging cloud-based analytics in a global network to help fight cybercrime), the modern workplace means consistently pushing the boundaries of where technology can take us, while not losing sight of the reason of why we stay connected.

But no matter why we stay connected in the modern workplace it’s crucial to have the right devices to do so. If you’re going to be at Olympia London April 19-20, make sure you stop by the Microsoft booth to see our range of mobile devices from the small (our latest Lumia 950 phones) to the large (Microsoft Surface Hub). One lucky visitor to our stand could receive a free Surface Pro 4 (T&Cs apply).

Here’s a video with highlights from last year’s event:
