How to talk with your AI voice assistant

If it’s your first time talking with Copilot , you may need to grant microphone access to Copilot on your browser or device. Once the microphone is enabled, Copilot will play an audio greeting, and you can have a voice conversation with Copilot—perfect for quick tasks, follow-ups, or even voice search AI queries. You can turn off Copilot’s access to your microphone in your platform settings.

You can mute yourself by clicking on the microphone icon, which will disable the microphone and stop Copilot from listening. To end a voice conversation, say “Goodbye” or click the ‘X’ icon to wrap up your session. Copilot stops listening.
