General Terms
These terms and conditions are in addition to any terms and conditions contained elsewhere, including the Universal License Terms for Online Services and Terms of Use - Microsoft APIs | Microsoft Learn. [https://docs.microsoft.com/legal/microsoft-apis/terms-of-use]. In the event of a conflict between the Product Terms and Terms of Use - Microsoft APIs | Microsoft Learn, the Product Terms control.
Customer may not:
- use the APIs for the purpose of migrating data from a Microsoft Product Offering to a non-Microsoft product or service. Nothing in this restriction limits a customer's ability to authorize the migration or export of its data using Microsoft-supported migration and export capabilities;
- use the APIs for performance testing, unless expressly permitted in writing by Microsoft, or to identify, exploit or publicly disclose any potential security vulnerabilities;
- misrepresent expressly, or by omission or implication, the need for users to obtain a valid license to the Microsoft application or service that is accessed through the APIs; or
- obscure or alter any unique referral identifier or the source of queries coming from an application to hide a violation of this agreement.
Microsoft AI Customer Solution
Customer may build a Microsoft AI Customer Solution and may permit third-party use solely in connection with that Solution. Customer is responsible for ensuring that all who access or distribute the Microsoft AI Customer Solution comply with this licensing agreement and all applicable laws, and obtain any necessary related licenses. Microsoft is not liable for patent claims arising from the Microsoft AI Customer Solution.
Work IQ API
The Work IQ API is licensed as a First-Party Consumption Service.
Neither Customer, nor those that access Work IQ API through Customer, may use Work IQ API or any information accessed by using Work IQ API:
- to redistribute, resell, or sublicense any data obtained using the APIs. Nothing in this restriction limits a customer's ability to authorize the migration or export of its data using Microsoft-supported migration and export capabilities; or
- in a manner that circumvents the need for Customer or anyone else to obtain a valid license to any Microsoft Product Offering accessed through Work IQ API.
Azure AI Search
When Customer uses Web Knowledge Source, which uses Grounding with Bing Search and/or Grounding with Bing Custom Search, Customer's use will be of a First-Party Consumption Service governed by the terms at https://www.microsoft.com/bing/apis/grounding-legal-enterprise.
