Summary

Exploit:Win32/CVE-2009-1537 is the detection for Quicktime files that attempt to exploit a vulnerability in Microsoft DirectShow.
 
When a specially crafted Quicktime file detected as Exploit:Win32/CVE-2009-1537 is run by a user, it may connect to a remote server and download other malware by running shellcode stored in another malware it usually arrives with, Exploit:JS/Mult.BM. Both of these exploits may arrive in a system when a user visits compromised or malicious Web sites.
