Lincoln Ghioni is a senior mechanical-engineering researcher in the Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG).  He combines mechanical, manufacturing, and material-science engineering disciplines to realize next generation hardware devices.  His passion is to drive product development from concept to prototype.

Lincoln holds a B.S. in material science and engineering from the University of Washington.

As a Washington native he enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities including hiking, camping and kayaking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  His hobbies include furniture-making and pontificating on the Internet of Things.
