When you compare business laptops vs. consumer laptops in the Surface lineup, the biggest differences usually come down to software, level of security, and how the devices are meant to be used.31
- Consumer laptops: Surface Pro or Surface Laptop consumer laptops come with Windows 11 and security features including a Microsoft Pluton34 security chip that helps protect credentials, user identities, encryption keys, and personal data. The Windows Hello35,36 uses face authentication with Enhanced Sign-in security, all for the purpose of everyday computing.
