TrojanDownloader:HTML/Agent.K

TrojanDownloader:HTML/Agent.K is a detection for specifically formed IFRAME tags that point to remote Web sites containing malicious content. This content could include, for example, malicious JavaScript containing an exploit for a specific vulnerability, or malicious binaries.

TrojanDownloader:HTML/Agent.K usually uses obfuscation so that the malicious site cannot be easily seen. Most of the time, it is embedded inside valid HTML files.  It requires that a user view or visit malicious web sites or open malicious HTML pages in order for further malicious action to occur. Once a malicious page is activated, other malware may be downloaded and executed on the affected machine.
