Licensing PlaysForSure-verified Devices
As a consumer electronics manufacturer, you can build and distribute portable and network devices that are PlaysForSure-verified. PlaysForSure-verified devices can include portable
media players, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and network devices such as digital media receivers, cellular telephones, and in-car media devices.
In order to make your portable and network devices fully PlaysForSure-verified, you should integrate and license Windows Media technologies as well as the PlaysForSure logo for your
PlaysForSure-verified devices. To do so, complete the steps described in the document "Steps to Getting the PlaysForSure Logo" to request and execute the required and recommended license
agreements.
