Get involved
Ensure all youth can learn the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that computer science (CS) teaches by advocating for CS education in your community.
Be an advocate
Together, we can help ensure equitable access to the digital skills needed to be prepared for a future where two-thirds of today's students will work in jobs that don't yet exist.

Support young people
Help young people who are passionate about computer science advocate for it in their community with new resources including a workshop facilitators guide and a student guide to computer science advocacy.

Sign the one-click pledge
Join almost two million people by signing a pledge stating that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science.

Promote computer science for all
Computer science drives innovation throughout our economy, but it remains marginalized, especially in K–12 education. Only 40 percent of high schools teach computer programming.
Volunteer
Volunteering doesn't just benefit youth; it also benefits those who donate their time and talent. There are many ways to volunteer and increase access to a computer science education.

Host an Hour of Code
Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in more than 180 countries. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event anytime. One-hour tutorials are available in over 45 languages.

Team-teach computer science
Volunteer with Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS to help change a student's life. Anyone with a computer science degree or equivalent industry experience who wants to give back to the community can apply.

Be a role model
As a female engineer or programmer, you can be a role model for girls around the world. Inspire others as a Skype in the Classroom guest speaker.
