Microsoft Visio Plan 2, available as a subscription, includes the same capabilities as Visio Professional 2016. In addition, such cloud-only features as Data Visualizer, Database Reverse Engineering, Improved Support for the AutoCAD drawings have been recently introduced. Plan 2 also allows each user to install Visio on up to five PCs running Windows 10, Windows 8 or Windows 7. It automatically installs the latest updates (both feature and security) for the duration of the subscription. Visio Plan 1 with 2 GB of cloud storage on OneDrive is also included.
Microsoft Visio Plan 1 is a web-app and includes 2GB of cloud storage on OneDrive. It does not have any installations.
Microsoft Visio Online viewing will be included with Microsoft 365. It does not include create/edit rights.

Microsoft Visio Standard 2019 is designed for people looking for a more basic diagramming solution that still comes with a rich set of built-in stencils and shapes.
If you are purchasing fewer than five licenses: Visio Plan 2 may be purchased directly through Microsoft365.com. Visio Professional 2016 and Visio Standard 2016 may be purchased through resellers and retailers, such as the Microsoft Store.
