Before joining Microsoft, Dwayne served in several roles at General Motors in advanced development, mobility, and OnStar connected services over 12 years. Most recently as Head of Product in the AI/ML Product IT organization where he made important contributions to product discipline and leadership with a focus on Autonomous vehicle feature development.
Prior to GM, Dwayne’s 10 year career at Verizon spanned several roles including Manager of Telematics Network and Technology, where he was responsible for wireless network and technology development working closely with Automotive OEMs to lead advanced development initiatives.
Dwayne has a BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from Michigan State University and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Persian Gulf, Somalia and Haiti. He holds over 17 Automotive connectivity and mobility-related patents.
