소개
I am a senior researcher at Microsoft Research. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Southern California (opens in new tab) and my bachelor’s degree at the Sharif University of Technology.
My research is in the intersection of theory, systems, and machine learning. I focus on studying complex systems and enhancing their performance and availability at scale. I have received several awards, including the Google Ph.D. fellowship (opens in new tab), the Machine Learning and Systems Rising Star Award (opens in new tab), and the MHI Scholarship (opens in new tab). My research has also had direct industry impacts: My work on max-min fair resource allocation, Soroush (NSDI’24) (opens in new tab), has been deployed in Microsoft’s traffic engineering pipeline; Firefly (SIGCOMM’25) (opens in new tab), my work on clock synchronization, is deployed at Google; and my heuristic analysis tools have uncovered and addressed inefficiencies in production heuristics.
