Serena Hillman

Dr. Serena Hillman is a research manager within Microsoft’s Azure Data organization, where her team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future landscape of data and analytics. With expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Dr. Hillman has contributed to the successful launch of numerous B2B and B2C products, as well as authored over 40 publications dedicated to understanding and improving the user experience. She has presented at premier conferences such as Grace Hopper, ACM CHI, ACM CSCW, and ACM MobileHCI. Dr. Hillman’s academic background includes earning a Ph.D. and completing a post-doctoral fellowship in HCI at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
