À propos

I am a Principal Researcher in the Natural Language Processing group at Microsoft Research. Currently, my work focuses on applying large language models to narrative-rich games. Particularly, I am interested in understanding how players, game creators and generative AI can collaboratively evolve a game’s narrative over time. You can learn more about this on our project webpage (opens in new tab).

Our group’s recent work on game narrative graphs (opens in new tab) was crucial in fostering XBOX’s partnership with Inworld AI.  (opens in new tab)

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park under the guidance of Dr. Hal Daume III. My thesis work on generating clarification questions (opens in new tab) won the best paper award at ACL 2018 (opens in new tab).
