Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2008 Available Today 

Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2008 will be available today for customers. The Service pack is available via download here and is primarily a roll-up of cumulative updates 1 to 3, quick fix engineering updates and minor fixes made in response to requests reported through the SQL Server community.

System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 releases SP1 delivering enhanced support for SQL Server 2008 

Service Pack 1 for System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 has been released with new capabilities for protecting SQL Server, Windows Server, SharePoint and Exchange. For SQL Server customers, SP1 adds support for mirrored databases as well as providing parallel backup support. The System Center team and SQL Server team within Microsoft work closely together to deliver solutions around structured and unstructured data, respectively.

SQL Server 2005 SP3 now available for download 

SQL Server 2005 SP3 is now available for download and includes the following updates: Roll-up of Quick Fix Engineering (QFE) updates completed since SQL Server 2005 SP2, as well as fixes to critical issues reported through the SQL Server community. Per revised servicing strategy for SQL Server releases, SP3 does not introduce major new features.

Microsoft MSXML 4.0 SP3 Beta released to web for testing 

Microsoft MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3) Beta has been released to the web for public testing. MSXML4 SP3 is a complete replacement of previous MSXML service packs. This SP3 update includes a number of security bug fixes and various reliability improvements.

Chart Controls released in .Net Framework 3.5
