Digital transformation for government

As technology matures and becomes more obtainable and abrasive, National Security Groups (NSGs) are finding out that they don’t have many of the same tools in their arsenal as the average seventeen-year-old hacker. Yesterday’s technology is not the same as today’s, and now more than ever, NSGs are searching for ways to stay a step ahead of the newest programs and software.

Naturally, changes in technology occur much faster than changes in government, and when issues like these arise, it becomes a matter of national security. Most NSGs have different methods of procuring new technologies as they become outdated and unsuitable, are finding it harder to keep up with the daily advances being made in security programs. The main challenge for these National Security Groups, isn’t in finding a software, but in acquiring it through their approval and procurement process and finding a software that will be able to move with the NSGs demands over time. It’s a challenge that Microsoft recognizes, and understands that obtaining the right technology is the first of many steps to generating a protected and state-of-the-line software, and providing programs to keep its NSG partners from tirelessly undergoing measures of acquisition for new software.

These government agencies need new updates to the acquisition processes that will allow the nation to keep up with the technologies as they come out. Microsoft’s largest goal in its building lasting partnerships with NSGs is not only providing the newest and safest technologies, but also showing our partners how to implement and effectively utilize them. For years, Microsoft has been the nation’s leader in government clouds and security programs, offering NSGs and other government agencies a reliable, trustworthy, and long-term partnership to keep them up-to-date with the most secure programs, and acting as a liaison through the continually developing age of technology.
