To meet the needs of employees in a hybrid world, teams across Microsoft have been working together to uncover a better hybrid meeting room experience.

The solution?

Flexible AV standards that accommodate a variety of spaces, allowing Microsoft to transform the meeting room at a lower price than building from scratch.

“We’re real-time developing standards for things we would like to roll out faster than our normal refresh cycle so that we can have these better hybrid meeting experiences,” says Scott Weiskopf, director of the Center of Innovation with Global Workplace Services, the organization that designs, operates, and maintains the company’s real estate and facilities. “Technologies can be used to make remote employees feel more included in the meeting and vice versa—make the people who are physically present more connected to the people who are remote.”
