Unleashing Bing Maps APIs

The Bing Maps development documentation provides information on APIs that power Bing Maps, helping developers create apps that go above and beyond using location intelligence. Check out some of the intuitive APIs you’ll be working with.

Bing Maps V8 Web Control is an API dense with features like Autosuggest and Real-time data modules, all in one package that’s easy to use in your web applications.

Geocoding and reverse geocoding tools allow developers to turn addresses and location names into geographic data. Bing Maps API uses geocoding to create intelligent, location-aware apps.

This simple interface combines other Bing Maps APIs providing the power to scale apps with data source management and geocoding. It’s also useful for data visualization and AI training.

For an overview of how to add maps to your application, check out the Bing Maps video on Channel 9.

The V8 Web Control Interactive SDK

In addition to the reference documentation in the Bing Maps SDK, the Interactive SDK provides feature samples and code snippets for JavaScript and TypeScript application development.

The interactive SDK is a fun and engaging way to learn about one of Bing Maps’ most powerful APIs. Developers can edit the code samples to make map integration with their apps incredibly easy. Development tools like the Test Data Generator create a sandbox for devs, encouraging experimentation and creativity.
