  • A Microsoft promise is a customer-focused directive managed and delivered on by App Assure, in partnership with Microsoft and software development companies (SDCs) other engineering teams, to ensure that supported applications and integrations continue to function reliably during platform transitions and growth.
  • Qualified products include: Microsoft Windows, Windows on Arm, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Sentinel Codeless Connector Framework.
  • App Assure is available at no additional cost to eligible Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Sentinel customers for application compatibility requests.
  • Submit a request at (https://aka.ms/AppAssureRequest.) A dedicated App Assure manager will follow up with you to gather the details of your case and engage with engineering and software development partners as needed. 
  • You’ll be asked for details about the issue, environment, and any affected apps or connectors through our request form. This information will assist our App Assure managers to document the issue and coordinate with Microsoft engineers as needed. (https://aka.ms/AppAssureRequest.)
  • Yes. App Assure partners with software development companies to diagnose and remediate compatibility issues, help build quality security integrations, and support Arm64, Outlook add-ins, Microsoft Sentinel Codeless Connector Framework, and other scenarios.
  • App Assure does not test or inventory apps to determine compatibility, support non-Microsoft software development companies' product statements, or provide packaging-only services. Please refer to this page to understand what is in scope.
  • You’ll work with a dedicated App Assure manager, who will gather the details of your case, coordinate engineering involvement, provide regular status updates, and guide remediation or software development company collaboration.
  • No. App Assure does not provide emergency or real-time break/fix support for blocked apps and does not have response time SLAs.
