- There are several types of functionality in Copilot chat panels that afford the ability to reference a file to begin a document or presentation in Word and PowerPoint, respectively, as well as the ability to generate an image with Designer directly from your Word or PowerPoint canvas. We’re continuing to evolve how Copilot acts across Microsoft 365 apps as consumers begin to leverage Copilot.

- No. Access to AI features in Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the higher usage of AI features in apps such as Designer, are only available to the subscription owner of a Microsoft 365 Family plan and cannot be shared with others.
