Haoyu Dong

概要

Haoyu Dong is a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research, specializing in large language models for modern workspace. His work spans both foundational research and practical applications in enterprise environments. His paper Neural Formatting for Spreadsheet Tables was nominated for Best Full Research Paper at CIKM 2020, and his more recent project, SpreadsheetLLM, was featured as Hugging Face Paper of the Day (ranked (1st for the day) (opens in new tab).

Haoyu Dong co-founded the first Table Representation Learning (TRL) Workshop at NeurIPS (opens in new tab) in 2022 and has continued to co-organize the workshop in 2023 and 2024. He also served on the steering committee for the Tabular Data Analysis (TaDA) Workshop at VLDB 2023. He co-presented a Tutorial on “Large Language Models for Tabular Data” (opens in new tab) at SIGIR 2024 and delivered a Keynote titled “Spreadsheet Intelligence and Tabular Data Analytics” (opens in new tab) at the VLDB 2024 TaDA Workshop.
