The Productivity and Intelligence group in Microsoft Research brings together expertise from artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, information retrieval, and software engineering to work together on how people interact with information and software systems; how to build predictive models of language, code, and behavior; and how insights and knowledge mined from data can be used to characterize human behavior and its impact on productivity at the individual, organizational, and societal level.
Together with our product partners, our team has developed technology that has improved product offerings in Office, Visual Studio, Cortana and Bing.
We currently have applications open for early career researchers and recent graduates and spring and summer 2021 interns. We are always interested in working with like-minded individuals who are ready to think broadly, focus deeply, and work as a team to advance the state-of-the-art and impact the world. We invite you to learn more about us on our respective profile pages.
