Microsoft Going Carbon Neutral

Microsoft is instituting a companywide commitment to achieve carbon neutrality beginning in fiscal year 2013 which commences on July 1st 2012. The commitment will apply to Microsoft’s business operations in over 100 countries. To achieve this goal, we have created an accountability model which aims to improve efficiencies, increase our purchase of renewable energy, improve data collection and reporting, and further aligns to our ongoing goal of reducing our environmental impact.

Additional Carbon Reduction Activities
