Dr. Chong Luo is a Lead Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. She received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012, M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in 2002 and B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Fudan University, China in 2000.
Her current research interests include multimedia communications, wireless rate adaptation, sensor networks, and multimedia cloud. In particular, she is interested in pseudo-analog and hybrid digital-analog transmission of wireless video, receiver side rate adaption in wireless networks, and data gathering and persistence in large-scale wireless sensor networks.
