About

I am a senior researcher at Microsoft Research, New York City. I completed my PhD in the Computer Science Department at Princeton University as part of the Princeton NLP (opens in new tab) group, advised by Karthik Narasimhan (opens in new tab). I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Science & Engineering at UC Irvine, where I was fortunate to work with Professor Sameer Singh (opens in new tab) on interpretability in NLP, and with Professor Stephan Mandt (opens in new tab) and Professor Mike Pritchard (opens in new tab) on AI for climate.

My research generally focuses on reinforcement learning and natural language processing, and more recently I’ve started thinking about self-improvement in AI agents.
