Jorge Leandro is a Senior Research Software Engineer in the Natural Language Processing group (opens in new tab) with the Microsoft Research Redmond Lab (opens in new tab).
Being passionate about Artificial Intelligence related fields, he holds an MBA in AI and Big Data (opens in new tab), PhD and MSc degrees of Computer Science in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, besides prior experience with Digital Image Processing, Computational Photography and Artificial Intelligence in the industry of digital camera for mobile devices.
Currently, his work has been mainly focused on NLP with multimodal models and techniques to endowing large language models with vision and visualization capabilities for conversational agents aimed at applications in the industry of games.
