About

I am a Principal Researcher in the Cloud Operations Research (CORE (opens in new tab)) group in MSR Redmond.

I received my PhD in 2013 from the ACO program at Carnegie Mellon University. Since then, I have been a Professor in the Computer Science department at PUC-Rio, at TU Delft’s EWI department, and at Georgia Tech’s ISyE department.

My research interests are broadly in optimization and decision-making, with focus on foundational aspects of Integer Programming and the design of algorithms for problems with partial information.

For publications and additional information, please see my personal homepage (opens in new tab).
