About
I am now a partner research manager in Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), leading the Internet Graphics Group of MSRA. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Computer Graphics from Tsinghua University in 1999. My Ph.D. thesis is about hardware assisted volume rendering. I got my B.S. Degree and Master Degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 1993 and 1996 respectively.
My research covers various topics in computer graphics and computer vision, including appearance modeling and rendering, texture synthesis, light transport capturing and analysis, image-based modeling and rendering, deep learning based 3D analysis and generation, facial performance capturing and animation, as well as 3D graphics system.
