The Workshop on Legal and Ethical Governance Challenges Faced by Big Models

Location: Virtual

The goal of this workshop is to delve into the ethical implications of big models (such as GPT, Galactica, CLIP, DALL.E-2) and to stimulate critical thinking and meaningful discussions on the subject. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, we hope to shed light on the key questions and identify promising avenues for future research in this field.

The workshop will bring together leading experts from the fields of law and computing to address the critical interdisciplinary ethical issues surrounding the deployment and use of AI (artificial intelligence), with a particular focus on intellectual property, privacy, fairness, misinformation, disinformation, and other technology misuse issues. We believe that the outcomes of this workshop will have a lasting impact on the field and help shape the future of AI.
