Microsoft Research India Academic Research Summit 2020

Microsoft Research India Academic Research Summit 2020

Microsoft Research (MSR) is organising the fifth edition of the Academic Research Summit, in partnership with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) India and BITS Pilani Goa. The summit will be held on the 30th and 31st  of January 2020 at the BITS Goa campus.

The ubiquitous availability of internet access across the world and the exponential growth of connected devices has ushered in a revolutionary information era. While the potential for these capabilities in enabling progress is undisputed, it also brings to the fore  issues concerning privacy and security. As the notion of our identity becomes increasingly digital and spans across  our personal and professional lives, the threat of  this information being compromised also increases manifold.

The Academic Research Summit 2019 is focused on the theme of Security and will address topics concerning digital identity, privacy, fairness, etc. The agenda will include keynotes, talks and other tracks from distinguished researchers from India and across the world including Eric Horvitz, Peter Druschel and others. The range of interests and breadth of technical areas covered will provide a unique experience for attendees.

More details on the list of speakers, sessions and day-to-day details will be posted here soon.

Participation at the Academic Research Summit is by invitation only. For any queries, please reach out
