Ed Cutrell manages the Technology for Emerging Markets group in Microsoft Research India. He is a cognitive psychologist with a background in cognitive neuroscience.

Ed’s research focus is the exploration and measurement of human interactions with information technology. His work spans a range of human-computer interaction topics (HCI), but currently he is primarily focused on Information and Communication Technology and Development (ICTD), particularly HCI4D.
