About

Robin Abraham is Partner General Manager leading the Research, Science & Strategy team at Microsoft.

He started at Microsoft in the Windows division and drove improvements to the health of the Windows ecosystem. He then moved to an Architect role (working on the language, runtime, and services) on an incubation team tasked with developing a low-code/no-code offering from Microsoft. This product (PowerApps) is now a $2B+ revenue business, growing over 70% YoY. Robin also led an Ambient Computing and Robotics project to leverage AI for workplace safety. 

Currently, he is working on Science Engine, in collaboration with many close partners, to harness advances in AI and HPC to transform R&D processes in industries anchored in hard sciences (for example, Pharma, Energy, Chemicals, and Materials).

Robin completed his undergraduate degree from IIT Kharagpur, MS & PhD (Computer Science) from Oregon State University, and Chief Product Officer Executive Program from Kellogg School of Management.
