I am a researcher in Speech and Dialogue Research Group. I am currently working on a distributed microphone array speech separation project, which serves as a front-end preprocessing stage for the meeting transcription system.
I obtained my Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas in May 2017. The research topic of my Ph.D thesis is speech enhancement to improve the speech intelligibility for cochlear implant recipients. After graudation, I worked at Qualcomm for nearly 2 years, focusing on the Hearable Project, including the design of acoustic transparent mode of headsets, and the HRTF (head related transfer function) individulization for virtual sound rendering, etc.
