I am a Senior Applied Scientist in the Knowledge and Conversation group, where my role primarily focuses on developing novel conversational systems. I received by PhD in 2016 from The Pennsylvania State University, where I was advised by Prof. C. Lee Giles. I received my Masters and Bachelors degrees from The University of Cape Town, South Africa. My research interests include machine learning, natural language understanding, information retrieval, digital libraries, metrics, and evaluation.
