Michael Lazos is a Research Software Development Engineer 2 at Microsoft Research. He previously spent two years in the Exchange organization prototyping NLP models and designing infrastructure to run these models in low-latency scenarios. Prior to Microsoft, he was an intern at IBM, where he worked on an AI system for server optimization, and also at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory where he built testing infrastructure for the Dream Chaser spacecraft guidance system. Michael received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Brown University in 2015. His interests are in programming language design, machine learning and robotics.
