Millicent Ochieng is a Data & Applied Scientist at the Microsoft Africa Research Institute (MARI). She’s passionate about designing brilliant, impactful solutions to challenging real-world problems, using the state-of-the-art approaches in ML/ AI. Her current research interests revolve around Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML) and Computer Vision, and their applications in Healthcare, New Future of Work, Society and Sustainability.
