Samuel Ogden is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft Research currently working on the Holoportation project.
Before joining Microsoft Research, Samuel was on the HoloLens R&D team where he worked to leverage computer vision to build cost-effective, ground-truth solutions to various machine learning problems including localization, trajectory tracking, and articulated hand tracking.
Prior to working in the HoloLens group, Samuel worked on Azure Batch, a scalable distributed compute solution, during its pre-release phase.
Samuel has a MS in Computer Science with an emphasis in Computer Vision. Sam’s experience includes camera rigging, synchronization, calibration, 3d localization, multi-sensor integration, optical and magnetic tracking, and rapid prototyping.
