About

I am a researcher in the Adaptive Systems and Interaction group. During 2008-2015, I was a member of the Interactive Visual Media group.

My research interests lie broadly in computer vision and robotics. I work on correspondence estimation in images and video, structure from motion, stereo matching, dense 3d reconstruction, image-based rendering, visual place recognition and visual odometry. I am interested in enabling computer vision techniques on platforms such as small autonomous quadrocopters and UAVs.

I received my M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where my research addressed geometric reconstruction problems in computer vision (UNC webpage).
