Portrait of Denise Wilkins

Denise Wilkins

I am a social scientist working in the area of Human Experience & Design at Microsoft Research in Cambridge. Working within the Future of Work theme, I’m currently researching enterprise knowledge. Day-to-day I study how technology can be used to positively transform work. My research takes a mixed-methods, human-centred approach.

I have a background in Psychology (BSc, Loughborough University), Psychological Research Methods and Social Psychology (MSc & PhD, University of Exeter).  Broadly, my research interests are at the intersection of technology and collaboration. Prior to my position at Microsoft I researched social media activism and peer-to-peer electricity markets.
