Wei Dai is a Senior Research SDE in the Cryptography Research group at Microsoft Research. His research areas are cryptography, computer arithmetic, and high-performance computing, with a focus on homomorphic encryption and fast software/hardware implementation. He is currently working on the Microsoft SEAL library and its applications in real-world scenarios.
Dai received his Ph.D. degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019. He received his B.S. degree from Fudan University in 2012.
