About

I am a researcher at Microsoft Research Cambridge. I am interested in:

  • Representation learning: how to make representations more explainable and beneficial for downstream tasks.
  • Practical Bayesian methods: how to do integrations more efficiently, and how to compute calibrated uncertainty estimates for downstream tasks.
  • Generative models, especially on finding creative ways to use them.

I read my PhD in  machine learning at the University of Cambridge, where I was also a member of Darwin College.
