Join us on Monday, October 6, 2025, for an exciting half-day workshop from 1:00 PM EDT to 5:00 PM EDT at the Microsoft Research Montréal lab.
This workshop brings together researchers from across Microsoft Research and Mila (Montreal Institute of Learning Algorithms) to explore cutting-edge topics in language modeling, reasoning, and AI agents. Themes include agentic systems, reasoning foundations, and FATE (Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, Ethics in AI). The scope is illustrative rather than exhaustive, leaving room for additional discussions and collaboration opportunities.
The agenda will feature talks from Mila professors and students, as well as presentations from MSR teams highlighting ongoing research and innovative directions.
We hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to engage with colleagues, share insights, and build community. Visit the Agenda tab for full details on planned talks and speakers.
